My name is Taiwo Adeniyi, I am a Wife, Mother, Caring Sister and a vessel of help!
I am a Human Resource Specialist in a financial institution. I attend The Fountain of Life Church, Ilupeju and serve in the Churchcare Department.
I joined Sisters Concern, now Caring Sisters Ministry in 2004 with a dear friend, Sandra Airhunde and the very first meeting we attended was at Joke’s place then at Surulere.
I remember when I mentioned to a colleague that I was about to join a Christian female group, she passionately begged and dissuaded me. She told me a lot of stories about women who have fallen victims of organised sects under the disguise of help ministries.
CSM is 18 years and counting! We have never experienced a single case of the negatives associated with some groups. God is our bedrock and we will continue to work in HIS counsel only.
I have served in the finance and secretarial units and I am honoured to be the current Vice President of CSM.
It has not always been rosy in CSM, sometimes it was financial issues, sometimes frictions among some members, but we have been able to surmount all these challenges. The stronger the tide, the tougher, better and more united we became. In CSM, sisters not only forgive, but they also forget and love harder!
CSM has been a channel of blessings to both members and targets. I beg to beam my searchlight on the goodness of God to His obedient daughters who in spite of personal challenges, have devoted time and resources to the wellbeing of others.
Please, sisters, kindly indulge me, I am not prying into anyone’s privacy but merely counting our blessings and naming them one by one, and it will certainly surprise us what the Lord has done!
Some of our testimonies are as follows:
- Remember when Motunde was working at a one-man Legal firm and she hated the job with a passion? See her now!!! 😁
- Remember when Peju was not working and things were so tight financially and she could not even celebrate when she found out she was pregnant for the long-awaited baby she had been yearning for? See her now! 😁
- Remember when Joke left a nice company she was working with as a contract staff and had to take a pay cut to work with a Telco firm? Remember her testimony about how she got back her old job, bigger and better? See her now! 😁
- Remember when Tewo was working for a ‘Judiciary outfit’ and her small salary was not even paid regularly? See her now! 😁
- Remember when Laide lost her job with a Christian organisation and almost lost hope because of that? See her now! 😁
- Remember when Remi Akogo did not have a job and took up a contract marketing job with a financial institution? See her now! 😁
- Remember when Ike was earnestly believing God for the fruit of the womb? See her now! 3 children in 4 years! 😁
- Remember when I was also believing God for the fruit of the womb? See me now, mother of 2 energetic boys! 😁
- Remember when some of our single sisters, including myself were believing God for life partners? See us now! 😁
- Remember Biola Laseinde’s story, how she started from humble beginnings? See her now! 😁
These are but a few of our very own CSM testimonies! We have a lot more in our coffers and God is still in the business of blessing us in CSM!
CSM is not just a ministry but a way of life for me. Everyone in my house knows CSM and most of the members of CSM knows practically all my family members, not just my nuclear family but my siblings, their spouses, my mum, and that is because CSM is an extension of our families for most of us.
Sisters, God sees your hearts and knows what your desires are, my prayer is that as we celebrate our 18th year anniversary, God will give each and every member of CSM a jaw-breaking, iroyin kayefi (awesome/groundbreaking) Anniversary present/testimony in Jesus name.
Happy 18th Anniversary Sisters! I love you all more than the whole wide world and back again!
