My name is Ekaette Chijioke. I am a wife, mother, sister, chartered accountant but above all a lover of God. I am currently in the Redeemed Chrstian Church of God and serve as a teens teacher and member of the Hospitality team.
I learnt about Caring Sisters through Gbonju Sann’s facebook posts. To be honest, you all look like a group of ladies having fun. So I asked Gbonju about it and asked to be invited to the anniversary dinner of 2016. I attended the dinner and decided I wanted to be a part of what God was doing in th house. So I officially joined, with my first meeting in January 2017, though I was unavoidable absent after then until December 2017 – and I have not looked back since then.
I am currently with the Welfare team and have previously served with Finance. So why do I love these ladies – because your love for God is so simple and real and it inspires a desire for more in me. I am also excited to be with people who are making life easier for total strangers….and are having fun doing it. I love our times of fellowship, that’s why I try my best to attend all meetings….those times of prayer too!!!
Today we celebrate 18 years of service to God and I pray that our hands will not grow weary. I pray that the lives touched will be lights in their times and generation and that Gods love will indeed be spread abroad. I pray that the grace of God will keep us and all that concerns us.
